Solar Air Heater

Solar Air Heater.

Solair Solar Air Heater uses solar energy to heat air in housing and industrial applications. Solair fans that run on solar cells (PV Panel), are used for air circulation The air, pulled by fans from the inside or the outside, is blown inside after it is passed through the panel. The sun warms the air passing through these surfaces and provides a zero-cost heating without wasting any energy.

Several panels can be connected to the system in order to obtain a greater heating capacity. Solair reduces the carbon footprint through its environmentalist, green energy, clean energy, that contribute to the high score in the Leed Certificate. Solair heats the indoors areas by solar-powered warm air and does not operate on electrical energy or fossil fuels.

The advantages of Solair:

  • It reduces warm-up costs.
  • Ensures free heating on sunny days.
  • High Leed score ( Contributes to Leed certification)
  • When connected to an outside source, it clears the inside air.

How does it work?

How does Solar Air Heater System works.

The unit is controlled thermostatically. When the thermostat is set in 'on' position and the desired temperature is higher than the indoor temperature the unit operates the fans and it gets solar energy.

The operation of fans is made according to the type of installation, by pulling the air from the inside or the outside and sends it through the interior of the panel. The air passes through the aluminum channels panel which is warmed up by sun heat and then the air is blown to the inside. When the desired temperature is reached or the thermostat is switched to 'off', the system stops.

The efficiency of Solair

The Solair SA-12 model has a 1,82m² area covered with special paint that will absorb the sunlight. It features a 1200 W heating power when the sun's rays reach an angle of 90 degree. The assembled panel supplies a 120m³/h air cycle. If so, it heats the air to 40°C. When the inside temperature is 15°C, it is able to blow up air at 55°C. According to these calculations and depending on the building type, one Solair SA-12 panel can heat an area of 30-35 m² area.

Solair also prevents the growth of mold in summer houses which are not used in winter. In this way, when summer comes, the costs of paint, whitewash and furniture decrease.
